Where is the connection between climbing and pedagogical concepts?
Climbing is thought of as adventure-sport. And this is the point, that makes this sport a pedagogical and therapeutical usefull instrument. “Experience” plays a decicive role in modern pedagogy.
Climbing contains different aspects of experience: reliance, liability and others. Climbing up und beeing lowered back down aren’t the only possibilities to gain experience on a climbing wall. In most instances it is unknown, that a large variety of games and exercises can be done on a climbing wall, which contain specific advancement or are suitable for different aspects like prevention
of violence etc..
